Churel’s favorite places to haunt are cemeteries, battlegrounds, abandoned tenements, crossroads and squalid restrooms. The lair of the Churel is almost always in cemeteries.
The Churel attacks her victims by drinking their blood or semen or both. The next day, the man wakes to find he has aged overnight. The unlucky victim has now turned to an old man.

Indian Folklore

Let us travel to the ancient and mystic land of India. Known for its marvelous sights, silks, foods and now horror.

The Churel

Allow me to introduce The Churel. She is a ghastly witch whose sightings have been in North India, Bangladesh and Pakistan. The legend says the Churel was a woman who died during her pregnancy or during childbirth due to the neglect and poor care from her family. At first, her appearance is that of a beautiful woman. This is what lures men in.  Once her prey is close enough, she then reveals her true self. Her actual appearance is that of a hideous hag, with long sagging breasts, messy hair, long clawed hands and a long black tongue. The Churel’s most notable feature is her backward feet; toes where heels should be and heels where toes should be.
